Problems?
I'd like to address a rank issue that I think is important.Its about the promotions or lack of same for some people.It just seems to me that some people are being promoted ALOT faster then others.Now dont get me wrong, I know these people contribute alot to the clan but it seems weird to me how fast they have gained rank and how slow its taking others to do the same.
For example Shamam and Supaplant.I dont have anything against these guys but they have both become Sergeants withing the past couple of weeks.For Shamam maybe months.Shamam has been with the clan for 6 months give or a take a few days.Supaplant has been in the clan for 4 or 5 months.Now I have no problem with this other then that they are both 1 rank away from me and I have been with the clan for almost 2 years.Does anyone see a problem with this?And this isnt just me that this is happening with DN himself is having this problem in my opinion anyways.And some people have seemed to skip ranks rather then gaining 1 rank each time.
I think we need to make a few changes in order to make sure some people arent getting stiffed.

Ghost, the reason these guys have such a high rank is because of their actions. Get members and play with us for a month. You will see how much these guys do for us. They do more for Runescape than the Evil Gower Boys (Andrew Gower and his brother, the creators of runescape) They help out more than you know. They deserve whatever they have.

Dude you know what?Just because they help out doesnt mean they should be promoted more often then everyone else.Then maybe we should make everyone a Sergeant after 6 months then?Since atleast that way it would be more fair then having some leader handing out promotions because those people are members of his section.

Look, these guys fricken earned their rank. They deserve it. When I first created this section back in like... 2003... These guys have been here for a loooonnngg time! Not just 6 months. Ya see, I stopped playing games with VeX for a while... and I quit runescape... I came back about 7-8 months ago. Those guys were still here!!! THey have been here much longer than 6 months. Trust me.

Ghostmarine, you make a good point. If we are not careful, a section leader could promote a member beyond the rank he/she deserves.
But, this isn't to say Shamam or Supaplant do not deserve the rank they currently have. It just means we need to review this "issue" and come up with a reasonable solution.
What are the current facts?
- A member can't earn a rank higher than Sergeant without a clan vote?
- A member can only be promoted one rank every 2-3 weeks?
... Clarify this, please.

Your asking me?Isnt this something higher ranking people should take care of?Whatever the rules are we need to get them set in stone so we dont have to worry about how often to promote, and what calls for a promotion/demotion.
