Dell Dimension 2400

Okay, let's ring this up. This is a new Dell right out of the box. This deal is only good for 2 days, so be quick... or be dead.

You get a P4 2.2 (not Celeron)
128MB RAM at 266Mhz
onboard agp (video), and ethernet
modem
SBLive! 5.1 sound
keyboard, mouse, speakers
(now for the real goods)
40GB hard drive
XP PRO
Office Small Business ($150 value)
Belkin Surge Protector
AND A 15"LCD Flat Panel display

FOR $858.00
Beat this deal. I dare ya. Maybe not a gaming monster, but it's a helluva deal. (This author owns shares in Dell Corp.) LMAO!

CD Burners

Someone here asked me if I could research CD Burners. Here's how I narrowed the field:

CenDyne 52X CD-RW $32.00 shipped Acortech.com
Cheapest and an ok item. Never shopped at Acortech before.

Lite-On LTR52246S $40.00 shipped Newegg.com
LG Electronics GCE-8520B $47.00 shipped Newegg.com
Both excellent drives. The LG was PCMag's editor's choice. All prices include shipping. Newegg rocks customer service!

Well, if you dock the price of XP Pro, then we're both in the same ballpark. LOL! Then you look at your 17 crt vs. my 15 lcd. I'd take the lcd, personally.
