How should finances be handled? VeX does have bills to pay, domain, hosting, and ...
Some clans setup a paypal account which members can donate money. VeX had a paypal account at one time. What's the current status of that account?
What are some other suggestions on how to handle VeX finances?

VeX had a paypal account at one time. What's the current status of that account?
I still have a paypal account that is active under the name of ElixirOne. If donations were made I would "open the books" to you all about how much. I'm a trustworthy source, and the account is already set up.
What are some other suggestions on how to handle VeX finances?
I could auction off some old computers to raise money... lol.
But I think first VeX needs to see a spreadsheet or "checkbook" of what VeX has paid out and how much we need in return.
Membership dues are not out of the question once we get the site finished (which is looking closer now). Joining a good clan is worth a one-time donation.
Perhaps paying a fee to be promoted... eh, well, no that's a bad one.
Here's a GREAT one! How about if Epagien SELLS some of the very-popular signature graphics for like $5 a pop? That would generate some revenue quickly, I bet.
But hey, this is a BRAINSTORM thread, right? So post all ideas, no matter how stupid it seems. :)

LMAO, and if our host doesn't get its management handled might have to get another new host. I'll talk more about it if things get worse.

How many departments should the clan have?
The Cabinet oversees all actions in the clan.
Development Department oversees the management (recruiting, leadership, and activity) of sections.
Internal Affairs Department oversees the investigation of members, clans, and/or web sites.
Engineer Department oversees the web site, irc, servers, and all other VeX specified services.
Discipline Department oversees the discipline of members; section leaders can use department to come up with punishment for members.
Events Department oversees the organization of tournaments, contests, wars, alliances, and other VeX-related events.
You will see Director positions for all these departments, which would make a possible total of 8 members in VeX Core, the law making body?
Thoughts on this?

i had an irc server which was called #vex but the only ppl i saw on there was diablo and helix :/ anyway i would like to give it a try again.
