Outwars - Oasis

This thread is not so much of a thread to take about the bringing back of since it has already been done but more or less a topic of things that are going on in the world of OW and making sure that things for the most part are running smoothly. First thing of business I know we all have lives and jobs so being on is going to be hard and ruff to do with working and school and family. One thing I would like to see is more people playing please commit a realistic goal of how much you are going to play I do not want to hear I will play every day all day when you can only do maybe 2 hours at night before calling it a night to me that is fine. Second I would like plenty of screen shots I know this site might limit to it but please try and show off you handy work, even if that means you beat a former leader of the section (me) or you are just having a friendly game I want to get a sense of who is on and how many during a certain time. Thirdly one thing I would like for most of you for those who have already dawned the VeX name in OW go ahead and keep it for those who haven't do not worry and stress it is not a big deal. I would like to talk with you one on one if possible I am a very busy man and I think I have to change my e-mail address in here so that it is more current and accurate. For this purpose I want to get a sense of what you are looking for in getting out of the game and would like to see how much interest we really have so for those who have not dawned the VeX name is all good just shoot me an e-mail and I will get back to you in the time frame of 24 to 48 hours and give you a response. After which I would like you to make the switch to the VeX(said name) and continue use of the name. The only time I would not want you using the name is either I have to given you permission or have not received an e-mail yet but I will get to you. I am not going to make you go through a process of what it use to be to get the VeX name you have to get nominated and have a decent ss I just want an e-mail from you and will go from there. I will need a assistant section leader for awhile someone who is going to at least give me 2 hours a day to play and be able to do tasks as they arrive someone with more time then me really. Honestly I want all those who play to take a active roll and when the time comes (if ever) recruiters and prescreeners of people who wish to join and get feed back from everyone. Give some feed back guys and let me know what you think. I will update my e-mail asap so if it seems like I am taking awhile to answer here just shoot me and e-mail with something pertaining to OW in the subject line and I will answer asap.

I have talked to a few of the older players, ya know we need to get up and get on a TS and just have a riot one night talking about the good old days.

I urge every VeX that still wants to play OW with others and be a part of a great community to go to http://www.outwars.cjb.net/ and sign up at the forum. We're developing a new map to play among other things and we want everyone that still wants to participate to join up! The goal isnt to bring OW back, its to create a friendly community with lots of fun and respect. Cause thats what gaming's all about.

hey people it's _agent__sk0rp_ from outwars. i heard a couple of days ago someone had got in contact with a few of you and it didn't sound like you guys were interested in coming back. well it's ok if you don't but jester just bought outwars.org and mad_violater uploaded the full to his server which downloads at a half a meg per second. we have around 10-12 people in dp a day. personally i would really enjoy seeing a few vex come back, it would definatly bring back a lot of fond memories. i will give you the link for the full and if you want to contact me about anything here is my aim and msn. download outwarsSlim and the reg fix. put it in the Program Files>Microsoft Games>Outwars folder and run it. after this dp will recognize the game and you shouldn't have any problems. if you do again please contact me and i hope that a few of you make it back to outwars.

Anybody who remembers me...I used to play outwars quite a bit. I was ranked staff-sergent. Now that I've been out of the loop for a while, I want to know where I can play. I've been trying to find a place on the zone...but apparently microsoft took the room out. I know I can play in directplay, but nobody's been there. When do people come on?...or are we playing somewhere else now.
